BUFFALO — The Senators’ management and scouting staff left the First Niagara Center with smiles on their faces Saturday afternoon.
Mission accomplished.
After wrapping up the two-day NHL entry draft, the Senators were pleased with the players they were able to add to the organization and they’re confident the prospects they picked up will have the opportunity to play down the road.
“Your goal is you have certain players that you like and covet,” said Senators chief amateur scout Bob Lowes. “I thought we did a very good job of, for sure, getting a few of those guys.
