Dave Cameron is not going to be shown the exit immediately, but he won’t play a role in the Senators’ exit meetings Monday at the Canadian Tire Centre.
He can probably start packing up his stuff because his chances of being back behind the bench aren’t very good at all.
Most of his assistants can probably do the same thing, too.
The Senators coach didn’t get a vote of confidence from newly-appointed GM Pierre Dorion during his inaugural news conference Sunday morning when he took over the role from senior adviser Bryan Murray. Instead, Dorion chose his words carefully when asked about the status of the coaching staff.
