Three's not company as far Erik Karlsson is concerned.
The Senators' captain told reporters Thursday he doesn't like the NHL's decision to go to 3-on-3 OT to try and avoid going to a shootout this season and believes all it does is tax players who rack up big minutes.
The Senators have played four games this season that have gone to overtime and all have been decided with a shootout. Karlsson, who plays upwards of 25-minutes per-night in regulation, doesn't really appreciate the extra skating.
"Well, its one of those things ... I don't know. It feels more like a bag skate for players like me.
