The Ottawa Senators won’t only have to battle the Washington Capitals, the bout with the flu running through the dressing room is ongoing.
While defenceman Mark Borowiecki wasn’t on the ice Tuesday morning at the Canadian Tire Centre and is expected to miss his third straight game with the stomach bug, winger Mike Hoffman isn’t feeling well either and he’ll be a game-time decision as the Senators face the Capitals.
As a result, the Senators have recalled winger Casey Bailey from their AHL affiliate in Binghamton and he’ll suit up if Hoffman can’t play.
