WINNIPEG — Scott Gomez was forced to sit and watch for the second straight game.
No, he hasn’t been completely ruled out for the rest of the season, but the Senators centre did sit his second straight game Wednesday night against the Winnipeg Jets and there are no guarantees on when he’ll return.
Speaking before the game at the MTS Centre, coach Dave Cameron indicated he spoke with Gomez about the situation recently and he knows why he was brought here and what the expectations are with only 10 days left in the regular season.
Cameron opted not to make any lineup changes following Saturday’s 4-3 OT loss to the Anaheim Ducks at home.
