OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that the club has signed forward Francis Perron to a three-year entry-level contract.
Perron, 19, is in the midst of his fourth season of major junior hockey with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and has registered 107 points (41 goals, 66 assists) and a plus/minus rating of +40 while appearing in 61 of his team’s 66 regular season games to date this season. With a five-point effort (one goal, four assists) in a 7-1 Huskies’ victory at Victoriaville on March 4, he moved into sole possession of third place among all-time Huskies in scoring.
