OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that the club has recalled defenceman Michael Koskta from its American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
Kostka, 29, has scored one goal and added five assists for six points in 15 games for the B-Sens this season, recording six penalty minutes and a team-best +9 rating. He scored a power-play goal and was named the third star in Binghamton’s 3-1 win last night over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Undrafted, Kostka has scored four goals and earned 16 assists while adding 35 penalty minutes in 70 career National Hockey League games with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks, Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Rangers.
