TAMPA, FLA. - Ottawa Senators goaltender Mike Condon and the club’s offensive leaders rebounded yet again Thursday.
The Senators used a strong power play and took advantage of a fragile Tampa Bay Lightning squad en route to a 5-2 victory.
In the process, they put behind them their sloppy 6-5 loss to the Florida Panthers Tuesday, a game where Condon wasn’t close to his best.
Against Tampa, though, the Senators goaltender came up big when he was needed.
Appearing in his franchise record 26th consecutive game – including 17 straight starts – Condon made 19 saves.
