MONTREAL — Mark Stone decided to play through the pain.
The Senators’ winger, who suffered a microfracture to his right wrist, after a vicious slash by Montreal defenceman P.K. Subban in Game 1 Wednesday, had his arm frozen and suited up in Game 2 Friday at the Bell Centre.
Stone took the warmup and didn’t look completely comfortable, however, he did suit up which meant Chris Neil was a scratch.
“He’s trying hard to get that wrist back in action,” said winger Curtis Lazar.
In the morning, Stone didn’t certainly look like a guy who could play.
