If Mike Hoffman is indeed close to returning from a lower body injury, there's no telling where Marc Methot and Curtis Lazar stand.
At least not until the Senators return for practice Monday after having a day off to lick their wounds -- in more ways than one.
Methot missed his third game Saturday after all indications were he had completely recovered from a concussion and would be in the lineup against the Coyotes.
"I passed (the final test) yesterday," Methot said following the morning skate.
"It was a long one too. Now that they've improved the protocol, it's pretty gruelling.
