After losing both ends of the home-and-away series with the Montreal Canadiens last weekend, the Ottawa Senators could have a huge addition for the rematch Saturday in Montreal.
Mark Stone, who leads Senators forwards in scoring – 22 goals and 28 assists in 63 games – could be back from his leg injury. Stone, who was injured March 9 against Arizona, practiced with the team Thursday morning.
“I’m gunning for it,” Stone said of the possibility of facing the Canadiens. “I want to be in that game. I know what (the magnitude) is to it, so I’m going to try everything I can over the next couple of days to get there.
