If Clarke MacArthur had his way, training camp would be right around the corner.
At this point, he’s got awhile to wait.
But after sitting down with new coach Guy Boucher during last week’s NHL entry draft fesitvities in Buffalo, the Senators winger is excited about getting the season started, especially after missing nearly all of last year with post-concussion syndrome.
MacArthur is feeling good and is on the ice two days a week at his off-season home in Rochester with a skating instructor so he can stay sharp before ramping it up in August and then returning to Ottawa in September.
