BROSSARD, QUE - The Habs are playing the waiting game with Max Pacioretty.
The club's highest-scorer has been cleared for contact and was on the ice for the second straight day at the Complexe Sportif Bell Tuesday but didn't take part in every line rush which means his status for Game 1 Wednesday night against the Senators hasn't been determined.
Coach Michel Therrien wasn't tipping his hand.
"First of all, as a coaching staff, we have to prepare our team for (Wednesday) night's game," Therrien said. "The medical staff hasn't told us yet that Max is going to be there for (Game 1).
