MONT TREMBLANT - After pushing the Senators to the brink of elimination, the Montreal Canadiens escaped Ottawa for a couple days in favour of the privacy and comfort of Mont Tremblant.
And while much of the talk inside the lobby of the team's hotel revolved around the benefits of a little R&R with an extra day off between Games 3 and 4, nobody was in celebration mode just yet.
A 3-0 lead, said the handful of players who spoke to the media on the team's day off, doesn't mean a whole lot if they let the Senators climb back into it at Canadian Tire Centre on Wednesday night.
