If the Senators weren’t so dead-set on finding a veteran NHL head coach, they could simply gaze across the river to spot an excellent candidate.
As it is, they should either consider making an exception to the criteria or hire Benoit Groulx as Luke Richardson’s replacement in Binghamton.
