Matt Puempel didn’t play in Game 6 for the New York Rangers but he may have saved one of his best moves for something special he did off the ice.
According to a report in Wednesday’s New York Post, Puempel — who started his career with the Senators before being picked up on waivers by the Rangers last November — gave two homeless people who sleep near on the streets near the Garden tickets to what turned out to be the club’s final game of the season against Ottawa.
