Someday in the distant future, Erik Karlsson admits he could see himself following in the footsteps of great players who have gone on to have their very own office with a hockey team.
As president? GM? Coach?
"I don't know, owner would be nice. Rule it all," the Senators 25-year old, two-time Norris Trophy winner joked in the corner of a Canadian Tire Centre room used Friday to introduce Daniel Alfredsson as the team's senior advisor of hockey operations.
On a more serious note, Karlsson totally understands why his long-time pal and fellow Swede would take the job.
