Senators fans were spoiled the last couple years with Thomas Chabot and Colin White playing prominent roles in the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships. They may not have the same prominence, but two more Sens prospects will have a shot at making Team Canada this year in Alex Formenton and Drake Batherson. Both were invited to the Team Canada development camp.
Formenton was the Sens’ 47th-overall pick in the 2017 draft. He currently has 21 points in 17 games, after starting the season with the big club and playing in one game.
