Time isn't on Eugene Melnyk's side right now.
The Senators owner has been battling "major health issues" since mid-January and is now in urgent need of a live liver donor.
Melnyk was admitted to hospital three weeks ago as a result of "liver-related complications" and while the club isn't specifying what exactly is wrong with his liver, a few health experts were able to explain what the next few weeks could be like for Melnyk.
"We do have a very serious, critical condition," said Dr. Don Chow, the Senators' team physician, who spoke with Melnyk's doctor.
