OTTAWA - BUFFALO — Mike Condon shrugs his shoulders at establishing himself in the Ottawa Senators record books.
Condon passed Damian Rhodes by making his 26th consecutive appearance in goal Thursday and he’ll hit the 27 game mark Saturday versus Buffalo.
“In the moment, right now, no,” Condon said, when asked if it means much to him. “I mean, I only played six minutes in that Pittsburgh game (replacing Craig Anderson in an 8-5 loss to the Penguins Dec. 5), but I guess that counts. I don’t think much about it. I’m just happy to get in there.
