OTTAWA — Pierre Dorion isn’t going to rest on his laurels.
The Ottawa Senators may be coming off one of the most successful seasons in club history, but general manager, along with coach Guy Boucher, told reporters Monday morning the club must come back next September and be prepared to improve.
“Teams are going to get better. We need to improve,” Boucher said during an end-of-season wrap-up at the Canadian Tire Centre.
No, the Senators don’t plan to make wholesale changes, but Dorion will sit down with the club’s pro scouting staff this week to begin discussing the lists for the expansion draft set for June 21 in Las Vegas.
