Bryan Murray might not be done as Sens GM

LONDON, Ont. -- Don't be so sure this will be Bryan Murray's last season in his role as general manager of the Senators.

While his contract calls for him to be a consultant next year and he's leaning towards going that route, Murray, who is battling Stage 4 colon cancer, told the Sun he still enjoys being at the rink every day and will speak with owner Eugene Melnyk about the future when the time is right.

However, Murray would like to have more time to spend with his family and appreciates the help he gets from assistant GM's Pierre Dorion and Randy Lee along with the rest of the staff on a daily basis.
