Bruce Boudreau, who was fired as head coach of the Anaheim Ducks last week, will interview for the Ottawa Senators' head-coaching vacancy Friday, sources told ESPN's Pierre LeBrun, confirming an earlier report by the Ottawa Sun.
The Senators are looking to replace Dave Cameron, who was fired April 12 after the team finished 38-35-9 and missed the playoffs.
Boudreau's dismissal in Anaheim came April 29, two days after the Ducks' disappointing first-round exit from the playoffs. He led the Ducks to four consecutive division titles while going 208-104-40 in nearly five seasons in charge, but lost a Game 7 on home ice in four straight playoffs, culminating in a 2-1 loss to Nashville.
