Bruce Boudreau interviews for Ottawa Senators' head coaching job

Bruce Boudreau, who was fired as head coach of the Anaheim Ducks last week, interviewed for the Ottawa Senators' head-coaching vacancy Friday.

The Senators are looking to replace Dave Cameron, who was fired April 12 after the team finished 38-35-9 and missed the playoffs.

Boudreau met with Senators general manager Pierre Dorion and assistant GM Randy Lee at an undisclosed location Friday, according to the Ottawa Citizen.

"I was very impressed with Pierre and Randy, and I was comfortable with them but you will have to ask them how it went," Boudreau said in a text message to Postmedia.
