Patience, as it turns out, is virtue for Pierre Dorion.
While the Senators' general manager will head to Toronto to participate in the NHL’s draft lottery at CBC headquarters Saturday night, Dorion scored a small victory Friday when he was able to officially add Bruce Boudreau to the club’s list of coaching candidates.
When they fired coach Dave Cameron, along with assistants Andre Tourigny and Rick Wamsley after the season ended on Apr. 10, the Senators indicated they’d wait to see who became available. Now that one round of the playoffs in the books, the coaching pool just got a lot deeper with the addition of Boudreau.
