Finally, we see the real (angry) Guy Boucher.
The Senators coach was livid with the officiating in the second period of Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
After a Mark Borowiecki holding penalty on Wayne Simmonds — which looked like the right call from where we sat — Boucher threw his hands in the air and tried to push his eyes out of their sockets. He saw just how furious he looked when he glanced at the centre-ice video board, presumably to see the replay, but noticed the camera had focused on his reaction.
A couple of minutes later, Boucher went into full ballistic mode as the refs ignored what could have been a Flyers penalty.
