The Belleville Senators made a pair of announcements on Thursday. The first was that the team had signed two assistant coaches: David Bell and Colin Chaulk. Bell was an assistant coach with the AHL Ontario Reign the previous two seasons, and was also an AHL assistant coach with the Springfield Falcons from 2007-2009. In between those, he was coaching in the OHL, including being head coach of the Niagara Ice Dogs for the 2016-17 season. Chaulk was previously the head coach and VP of Hockey Operations for the team's ECHL affiliate, the Brampton Beast. Fred Lemay, the video coach of the Beast, has also been promoted to the B-Sens' video coach.
