To Andrew Hammond, a two-game conditioning stint in the minors seemed so much longer.
"When I was flying home yesterday I added everything up ... it turned into a pretty crazy week for me," Hammond said Monday morning at Canadian Tire Centre, where he was back in his role as the Senators back up goalie.
"Six flights, six different hotel rooms, just the one bus from Springfield to Hershey. It was an adventure."
His two games as a Binghamton Senator was more like a misadventure. Hammond lost them both and wound up with a .864 save percentage and 4.
