Today, Andre Tourigny was introduced as an assistant coach with the Ottawa Senators. This signing had been rumoured for a little while. Tourigny had recently opted not to return as an assistant coach with the Avalanche. Tourigny had been Cameron's assistant coach on the 2011 Canadian World Junior team. They had both been assistant coach on the 2010 Canadian World Junior team. The tragic passing of Mark Reeds had opened a spot for a new assistant coach with the Senators.
