Daniel Alfredsson will come home to the Ottawa Senators today.
The Sens confirmed Thursday night that the former club captain will join Ottawa’s front office as a senior adviser of hockey operations. The 42-year-old Alfredsson began his duties this morning during training camp, and will work closely with GM Bryan Murray and his staff. Both will address the media at a news conference at the Canadian Tire Centre at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
