Dave Cameron pushed all the right buttons when he took over as Senators head coach Dec. 11, and as he prepares to preside over his first NHL training camp, nobody expects he has lost his touch.
"I think we all know him pretty well now, both as a head coach and as an assistant," captain Erik Karlsson said Wednesday. "I think he's a great guy and he's a great communicator. It's pretty clear what he wants from us, what he expects from us. It's nothing big, he just needs us to be a little bit better every day, and that's what we're going to try and do.
