Goaltender Devan Dubnyk signed a six-year contract with the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.
Agreement on the contract was announced June 27, when the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported the deal is worth $26 million, an average annual value of $4.33 million, with the highest salaries in the first four years and a limited no-trade clause for part of the contract.
"The most exciting thing for me is knowing I get to be part of a really good hockey team for a long time," Dubnyk told the Star Tribune on June 27. "Getting a chance to play with that group of guys last year was the best experience for me.
