Detroit forward Tomas Tatar netted both of the Red Wings' goals in their 5-2 loss to the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of the teams' Eastern Conference First Round playoff series Monday night.
Tatar, who was unable to score in five postseason games in 2013-14, has three entering Wednesday's seventh and deciding game of what has been an exciting series between Detroit and Tampa Bay. After allowing three goals to the Lightning Monday, Tatar brought his team back to 3-2 with about 19 minutes left in the third period. He scored his first goal of the game on a power play in the second period and he knocked in his second goal after a setup from Pavel Datsyuk at 1:39 of the third period.
