Tom Gilbert scores in game five loss to OTT - Tom Gilbert (D) Montreal Canadiens

Tom Gilbert scored a goal in Montreal's 5-1, game five loss to Ottawa on Friday night.

The Canadiens once had a commanding three games to nothing lead in this series, but they have been unable to figure out Craig Anderson. Gilbert's goal at the 1:44 mark of the third period was Montreal's first goal since overtime in game three. The Canadiens fired 46 shots on goal in game five, but they didn't generate nearly enough scoring chances. Greg Pateryn and Lars Eller picked up the assists on Gilbert's goal. Montreal leads the series 3-2 with game six going Sunday night in Ottawa.
