Todd McLellan should find a new coaching gig - Todd McLellan (C) San Jose Sharks

The San Jose Sharks and head coach Todd McLellan have agreed to mutually part ways.

The Sharks also announced that assistant coaches Jim Johnson and Jay Woodcroft, as well as video coordinator Brett Heimlich were relieved of their duties with the team. "I want to thank Todd and his staff for their years of service to the San Jose Sharks organization," said GM Doug Wilson. "Sometimes a change is best for all parties involved but nothing will take away from what Todd and his staff accomplished here over the last seven seasons." McLellan had a 311-163-66 record behind the bench for San Jose and it won't be long before he finds another job.
