Forward Taylor Pyatt, who played 13 seasons in the NHL, announced his retirement on Monday.
Pyatt, 33, last played in the NHL in 2013-14. In 55 games with the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins, he had four goals.
Last season, Pyatt played for Geneve-Servette HC of the National League A in Switzerland and had 14 goals and 25 points in 38 games. He had four goals in eight playoff games.
"I had a few more injuries this year, a few more concussions," Pyatt told the Thunder Bay News Watch on Monday.
