It seems that Maple Leafs team president Brendan Shanahan received permission to talk to Arizona assistant general manager Sean Burke.
They obviously weren't chatting about the weather. It is not known if Shanahan is interested in Burke as the Buds' GM or in a lesser capacity. There will be plenty of rumors regarding the Maple Leafs' open GM and head coach positions this off-season. This is one of the first. Apr 18 - 11:21 AM
