Australian tennis player Bernard Tomic was reportedly arrested and charged with resisting arrest and trespassing in Miami early Wednesday morning.
According to BBC Sport, Tomic was asked to turn down the music in his W South Beach hotel room after other guests complained. The 22-year-old reportedly did not cooperate, and he was asked to leave the hotel. He refused, which led to an alleged altercation with hotel staff and police.
Miami Beach Police say Tomic “pointed his finger aggressively towards hotel security.” He was asked three times by hotel staff to lower the volume of the music in his penthouse suite.
