Peverley undecided about future as player: report

Rich Peverley has yet to make a decision about whether or not to continue as a player, his agent Allain Roy told the Boston Globe on Sunday.

Peverley, who became an unrestricted free agent July 1, last played for the Dallas Stars. He collapsed on the bench during a March 10, 2014 game against the Columbus Blue Jackets at American Airlines Center. He was diagnosed with and had surgery for an irregular heartbeat during the preseason and had a second procedure nine days after he collapsed. The procedure, a cardiac ablation, fixed structural damage in his heart to correct problems with rhythm (arrhythmia).
