The co-main event at Bellator 138 in St. Louis on Friday night was so awesome it could have stood alone as a main event.
Daniel Weichel nearly beat Patricio Pitbull, but Pitbull got some help from the bell and showed resiliency in the next round.
Weichel landed some big shots on Pitbull in the first but the round ended just before he got the finish. As a result, Weichel came out aggressively in round two, thinking he could finish the job. Only there was one problem: Pitbull struck him with a strong counterpunch that sent him to the mat for a TKO.
