The NBA is ramping up its on-demand offerings.
Next season, fans can buy individual out-of-market games for the first time, the league confirmed to CNBC on Wednesday. Viewers can purchase a single game for $6.99, where previously they could only buy all out-of-market games for a season.
The pay-per-view option, which was first reported by ESPN, will be available to consumers with a cable subscription to an NBA League Pass carrier or on broadband for computers, tablets and mobile devices. Fans can also buy all of a team's games for $119.99.
The full League Pass—which includes all out-of-market games—will still cost $199.
