There are more than a few people who are surprised when they learn that Pete Carroll is one of the oldest coaches in the NFL. Let’s face it — the guy runs around acting like a frat bro throughout most of the season.
Defensive end Michael Bennett, who is entering his third season playing under Carroll, was recently asked about playing for the 63-year-old during an interview with 750 The Game in Portland. He compared it to playing for Willy Wonka.
“It’s like playing for Willy Wonka,” Bennett said, per Gregg Bell of The News Tribune.
