Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Callahan was on the ice for practice Thursday, three days after having an emergency appendectomy.
He is wearing the same color jersey as other forwards, rather than a non-contact jersey.
Callahan was hospitalized Monday because of acute appendicitis. He was released from the hospital Tuesday morning.
In 12 Stanley Cup Playoff games Callahan has three points, all assists, and a plus-7 rating.
The Lightning next play Saturday at the New York Rangers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final (1 p.m. ET; NBC, CBC, TVA Sports).
