The main event at Bellator 138 on Friday night didn’t last very long, but it was as thrilling of a fight as anyone could have asked for.
Ken Shamrock immediately went for a takedown against Kimbo Slice and his gameplan of trying to take the fight to the ground was clear. He eventually got things to the ground and had a rear mount on Slice, and he was trying for the rear naked choke. He had both hooks in in the first round and was trying to submit Kimbo, but the giant would not tap out.
Slice managed to break out of the choke hold and stood the fight back up.
