Jason Day collapsed on the final hole of his second round at the U.S. Open on Friday. The 27-year-old could be heard on the telecast telling paramedics he was dealing with a bout of vertigo.
Day has been dealing with dizzy spells for quite some time. He withdrew from a tournament last August due to vertigo. He backed out of another event several weeks ago and cited severe dizziness as the reason.
After remaining down for several minutes, Day was able to get to his feet and gather himself enough to hit out of a bunker and save bogey.
