RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager for the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed forward Lucas Wallmark to a three-year, entry-level contract. On the NHL level, the deal will pay Wallmark $575,000 in 2015-16, $600,000 in 2016-17 and $650,000 in 2017-18. Wallmark receives $65,000 per season on the American Hockey League (AHL) level and a signing bonus of $225,000.
"Lucas has good hockey sense and can contribute in all three zones in different situations," said Francis. "We are pleased that he has chosen to continue his professional development in our organization.
