Chosen second overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2009 NBA Draft, the 7’3″ center is widely considered to be one of the biggest draft busts of all-time. But on Sunday, Thabeet managed to pull off a lamentable feat that the likes of Michael Olowokandi, Kwame Brown, and Darko Miliu010diu0107 never could: getting ejected from a Summer League game.
Yes, Thabeet is spending his summer in Sin City, moonlighting for the D-League All-Stars at the Las Vegas Summer League. It is apparently going pitifully as the 28-year-old was ejected from a game for picking up two technical fouls…after a call that went in favor of his team.
