Geno Smith booed at Yankees game

New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith attended a game between the Yankees and Angels in the Bronx on Sunday, and the hometown fans were not very kind to him.

As Mitch Abramson of the NY Daily News notes, Smith was booed when he was shown on the stadium video board during New York’s 6-2 win. He also conducted a somewhat icy interview during the game, as he had no interest in talking about comments Jets offensive lineman Willie Colon made last week.

Smith, who was interviewed during the seventh inning, simply said “no comment” when asked for his thoughts on what Colon said, which you can read below.
