Flames sign forward Josh Jooris to one-year deal after breakout rookie season

The Calgary Flames have signed forward Josh Jooris to a one-year contract on Friday.

The deal was tweeted by Jooris' agency, Uptown Sports.

Jooris, 25, scored 12 goals and 12 assists in 60 games last season as a rookie with the Flames.

The Burlington, Ont., native appeared in nine playoff games for Calgary, but failed to record a point.
