After his win Saturday over James Kirkland in Houston, Alvarez was asked by HBO’s Max Kellerman whether he would be willing to fight Miguel Cotto.
“I’m ready for any rival; I don’t run away from anyone. I’m ready for anyone,” Alvarez said in Spanish.
Cotto first has to beat Daniel Geale in June before facing Alvarez. Another potential fight would be one against Gennady Golovkin aka GGG.
